The Power Of Me: Women's Empowerment Summit

Natè Jones of Leaders in Lipstick partnered with Erikka Simpson of Strut In Her Shoes to present The Power of Me: Women’s Self-Empowerment Summit on March 21, 2015 at The Baltimore Gallery in Detroit, Mi. The Power of Me Women’s Summit was designed to help women overcome broken hearts, leave behind past situations and “strut in the present.” With an itinerary that included Spoken Word, Tea Time, a Networking event, and a panel discussion, the attendees of the Empowerment Summit were in for an uplifting experience.The panel featured five amazing young women; 

Kyona McGhee- Miss Black Michigan 2008 and founder of Daughter of The King Royaltee.

Brittney Michelle -author of Epiphanies Within: When Mediocre Living is No Longer Enough and founder of MISSion.31 Incorporated.

 Lauren Speed- graced the runwways of BET’s Rip The Runway and New York Fashion Week.

Natè Jones- faced being homeless twice and unemployment

  Empowerment speaker and Vision Coach Latoya Early, as the keynote speaker.
